“The Good and Mostly Boring” Part 1. All the Hype

I remember first hearing about World of Warcraft many, many years ago. Holy crap was I excited. I was so excited I went crazy. Anyway me being a huge Warcraft III fan and still a loyal fan of Warcraft III, I have read many books about the game which are all very good, I just knew World Of Warcraft wasn’t going to disappoint.

For two years I tracked the game before it’s release date and almost literally checked the website everyday and fell over time I looked at it. And of course as we all know Blizzard takes a long time on their games, but they’re all amazing. That being said World of Warcraft had to be amazing! IT HAD TO BE!

And it was. I got it for Christmas, but sadly I was in Florida and no where near a computer to play it. So until we got home to Wisconsin I was jumping up and down and read the manual countless times. When we got home some time in the middle of the night I went to bed and got up at around 6:00 a.m. and installed and played it! Oh my god, it was an amazing experience! I actually got to play an Orc Shaman and do the bidding of the Horde. It was cool a feeling. So I played and played it. And then one day my server was down, so I decided to make a Troll Hunter onĀ  another server. This is one I got really hooked to the game. This Troll Hunter, with name of Zenjin became my new alternate life. The Orc Shaman was kind of bleh, so I soon forgot about him.

Zenjin and I we were the best, we went on many adventures and enjoyed slaughtering the Alliance who were not very honorable fighters and Zenjin and I would put forum posts (on worldofwarcraft.com) constantly about how the Alliance where dirty fighters. Zenjin was a very popular Troll and had many friends to team with, I was leveling at nice and steady pace, I wasn’t level 60 the maximum level, but I was pretty good for the game just starting out. We had many good times, all of our friends were the same level of us, we had good equipment, good amount of money, and nice and helpful guild.

Then the computer broke.
